As your child’s first teacher and the person who knows them best, I will support you to build your own toolbox of skills to support your child’s communication development. I will work with you to advocate for your child as needed. You will be actively involved in your child’s therapy, playing alongside them to help build their skills within the messiness of family life!
Parent consults are available if you are wondering where to start or if you're on the right track with supporting your child’s communication. Your child may have recently received a diagnosis, and you would like to better understand how they process the world. You may need guidance on what resources are available and how to access them, or perhaps you just need someone to talk to and provide clarity. During consultations, I bring my professional expertise alongside my lived experience as an ADHDer and a Mum of Neurodivergent children to support you and your family.
Keen to know if I can help?
I offer one-off consultations tailored to providing you with the support and direction you need.
Consults will help you to understand your child’s neurotype and access information and resources which support their unique brain and empower you in your understanding.
Consults are available in person or via telehealth.
Common topics covered in recent consults include:
I support parents in navigating mealtimes in a way that feels calm, respectful, and aligned with their child’s unique neurotype. Having completed further training in "Inclusive Approaches to Supporting Neurodivergent Children with Feeding Challenges", my approach is especially helpful for families who feel like they’ve tried all the standard advice but nothing seems to work.
Whether it’s sensory sensitivities, limited foods, or mealtime stress, I take a neurodiversity-affirming, responsive approach that honours your child’s cues and supports their lifelong relationship with feeding and mealtimes. Together, we’ll explore strategies that support your child’s comfort and your family’s goals, making mealtimes feel more manageable and enjoyable for everyone.
Depending on my waitlist and the area of need, parent education groups are available to support the areas below. Groups or workshops can be organised by schools, childcares or community groups to allow for increased access to supports.
